Tasmania Up North - November

Fantastic Tasmania! Beautiful rock formations. Hanging loose before I go climb "the Nut" in Stanley. Meeting up with one of the locals after a great ride in Shefield. A town know for the mass amount of murals painted all over various buildings, with each one telling a different story.

The whole view of The Nut and a scenic lookout from up on top.
Spotted an echidna, cute little bugger, rarely has it's nose up, always looking for food. Protects itself very similar to a porcupine.

The massive Stringybark"big tree" is 400 years old 62 meters tall and an incedible 16meters around the base, how's that for size!!!

GREAT OCEAN ROAD

The Great Ocean road is a fantasic and beautiful stretch of road on the south edge of Victoria. I had a sensational bike ride along this road. Incredible rock formations and magnificant beaches!

A view from the bike and the road ahead -- awesome!!

Stopping to see the famous 12 apostles --even though there are no longer 12 due to weather. Speaking of weather, incredible blue skies and then within 5 minutes we could see the storm just building and flying our way. It brought wicked wind and rain, then 15 minutes later back to blue and a beaut of a day.

Every beach area I go to has diverse and unique characteristics all it's own, just brilliant.
